This royal-iced cake combines tradition with modern design and architectural sugarwork.
The tope icing collar with delicate lace inserts, has fine extensions below which alone support a second collar which literally floats around the edge of the cake.
The lower sections attach to the cake only at their very edges.
A small spray of delicate freesias completes the design.
