The bride and groom saw this design in a Bridal magazine and were set on having it replicated. Each tier is two rich fruit cakes stacked together - The whole cake weighed 5 Stone! (70lb/32Kg).

In order to keep the design but reduce the number of portions, the bottom tier is formed from cake dummies. The icing on the base is textured with silk pattern and dusted with a beautiful satin sheen.

The other tiers are decorated with a brush embroidered pattern using elements from the bride's dress.
